Pricing is shown below and can be purchased directly from this site through the shopping cart system while viewing an image. In addition to the options described, we can print and finish pieces in a multitude of ways, including face-mounted acrylic, canvas and a variety of fine art papers, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please inquire.

I have developed relationships with some of the finest print labs and finishing companies in the country, where all of the metal and fine art prints are produced to create works of impeccable quality and the highest standard. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and consistency separates them from the mass-produced options in the market. This elevated quality can take a little longer to produce (up to 3-4 weeks), depending on the current workload when the order is placed.

Matted Prints

I have never thought it fair that quality photography is often beyond the budget for many to purchase and enjoy. Fine art printing and finishing to create a multi-generational collector's piece is quite expensive to produce, which is reflected in the pricing. A quality image, though, does not need to be displayed as a high-end art piece to be enjoyed and appreciated. In an effort to make beautiful scenes and wildlife moments more affordable and accessible to the public, I offer matted prints produced in house.

Prints are made using a professional quality Epson photo printer on premium glossy paper. They are finished in an acid-free black mat and backing board with standard outer dimensions for easy framing. Numerous frames are readily available in these sizes, saving the large expense of custom framing. Each piece is individually packaged in compostable, crystal-clear bags, making them great gifts. We also offer a volume discount on matted prints- 2-4 (10% off), 4-6 (20% off), more than 6 (30% off).

Once the order is received, production and packaging usually takes a week and once shipped, a tracking number will be emailed with details.

Fine Art Metal Prints- Float Frame

Metal prints provide an elegant and modern look with stunning depth and luminance. Additionally, they are durable, water resistant and archivally long lasting. Using a state-of-the-art process, dye sublimation printing, the image is infused directly into the surface of specially coated, recycled, thin aluminum sheet. Dyes are applied to the coated sheet of aluminum then baked in a high-pressure heat press. The dyes sublimate, changing from a solid to a gaseous state, and permeate into the surface where they solidify in the coating. The image is thus suspended in the surface of the substrate rather than simply on top of it, giving the metal prints their remarkable sense of depth. This combined with the rich colors and high contrast creates a stunning and eye-catching work of art. Since the image is fused directly into the aluminum, the finished piece is scratch resistant and will resist fading or yellowing over time. The result is a fine art piece with incredible depth, detail and sharpness which is also durable and easy to clean.

The metal prints can be produced with a glossy or matte finish. This is a personal preference, and both look great. The glossy can have a little more “wow” factor but are more prone to showing glare, making illumination and placement more critical. For instance, a bright window opposite a glossy piece can create significant reflections and might be a better spot for the matte finish.

The metal float frame comes as a finished piece ready to hang on the wall. A protective, acid-free black coating is applied to the back of the infused metal and is completed with a black 1/2” recessed backing with concealed French cleat hanger to give it a floating effect when mounted on the wall.

Fine Art Metal Prints- Wood Frame

For those who appreciate the distinction of a wood framed piece of art (like me), metal prints can also be completed with an elegant molding for an even more refined look while eliminating the distraction of glass (or plexi) used in traditional framing. The same method of metal print production as the float option (described above) is set in a beautiful wood frame with three different tone options. The 16x24 and 20x30 size prints have a 2.5 inch width frame, the 24x36 and 30x45 sizes come with the 4 inch width version. Please contact me if you’d like a different combination.

Shipping for all prints is free in the United States, contact me for shipping overseas. Matted prints usually ship within a week and the metal prints take 2-4 weeks to produce depending on how busy the printer is. An email with the tracking number will be sent upon shipping.
